wheel question

I am looking at some 19.5 wheels. Can anybody tell me if these will take regular C20 hubcaps? They do not have any nubs inside or outside of center area or clips. I realize i could put the clips on but just wondering if the hubcaps would snap in without anything?

No, the stock hubcaps require clips. The correct Chevrolet 19.5 wheels had clips for retaining hubcaps, so the wheels you are looking at must be for another make.
the picture below shows what a Chevrolet wheel looks like ('62 and later, I think), and also shows the caps which utilize a pressed in ring to engage the clips. The Correct 3/4 ton cap is the one with the thinner ring (larger opening), 1/2 tons used the wide ring version.

The look of the 19.5 wheel, like a good bitter beer, is an acquired taste. Once you've got that flavor though, it's hard to enjoy anything else.

Thanks OEM, guess I don't need them. I have the original 16" split rims i'll get tires for. I have aluminum slots on my truck now but looking for the original look. I do like the looks of the 19.5s on the truck in the pic. I am curious what the ones for sale came on tho.

Those you saw are probably from a Ford or Dodge application. I seem to recall coming across some of the clip-less wheels during my own years-long search, and if I remember correctly they do look similar to the Chevy version.
Another option would be finding a set of the standard 17.5 wheels. One-piece like the giant 19.5's, but a bit smaller, and easier to find.
Current common size tubeless tires are a significant factor when choosing period wheels.

I believe it is possible to add the clips. Might be an option. Check out some of the 47-55.1 vendors.

I was kinda hopeful for the 19.5s that would've helped raise the rearend ratio. The 12.00 16.5s that i put on to help with the camper did help some as they are a little taller.
