1972 Chevy k10 suspension ideas

Hey guys, I am new to the site and looking for some ideas to help with making my 72 Chevy k10 have a better ride. The truck already has a 4inch lift and Rides great on the flats, but soon as I hit a pothole or speed bump it feels like the truck is about fall apart. Already considering the basics ( springs, shocks, bushings, sway bars). I just wanted to see if you guys had any luck doing anything different? Or any recommendations on what to hit first! Also I tried to attach picture of my truck (i kno it’s not the best pic) lmk if you guys are having a hard time viewing attachment!

Re: 1972 Chevy k10 suspension ideas

Welcome.
Are the Cab and radiator bushings in good shape?
Those and shocks would be what I would replace first.

Here is a picture flip for you.

Would have never even thought of the bushings to help for a better ride! I’ll definitely look into changing them out!

Shocks and leaf springs look pretty used and abused. Anyway to test them out?

Here is the best video I found (real Quick)
It is best if you remove them to check them on a leaf spring truck.

This is what I was running 20 years.
It is a ruff ride.
Maybe the 4x4 guys will chime in.
