Stock Height 1960-66C10

What's going on guys? I was wondering if the stock ride height changed any between these years? I have a 64 fleetside and was thinking about going with the static drop and lowering it in the rear with the usual springs but I got to thinking that maybe my old original ones might be worn to the point that it might not need the newer ones.Certainly don't want to add the new springs and it adds height, what would be the point then?

I have 265/70/R15 tires in the back and it looks like the top of the rear portion of the frame with the bed on is at 25 1/2 inches. Now the tire/wheel combo will change here shortly because I will be adding the disc/drop spindles. Just don't want to spend money on springs if it doesn't need them.

Spring sag on the originals.

I have 2.5” drop spindles and 1.5” drop springs in front, had 4” drop springs in rear and now have airbags in rear.

If your going to do it, replace the old with new!

Thanks for the advice. I just didn't want to add the 3 or 4 inch drop springs in the rear and it actually raise it compared to the old springs.
