Extending Parking brake cable
Anyone have a fix for extending the parking break cable? I need about 2 or 3 inches more. I put a 4 inch lift kit on and had to unhook the parking brake at the frame rail so I could move it and install the new rear leaf springs. I can’t find any part number for an extended parking break so I assume maybe they don’t make it. I really don’t want to drive it around until I have the parkin break. It’s my last resort if for some reason the brakes fail and I’m up in the mountains. Anyone have thoughts or a solution? Thank you.

Re: Extending Parking brake cable
Look at the cables for a 72 G10 van. I think they are about 6 inches longer than the pickup ones.
