Air intake
I'm just curious what everyone is using for air intake on their swap. My 5.3 is out of an 01 suburban and had a K&N setup but it doesnt fit quite right in my 67 obviously. I relocated my battery to the drivers side so wanting to keep it going to the passenger side and reuse my filter. Are there kits for the ductwork?

Re: Air intake
I've bought from WWW.intaketube.com. Both metal sections (alum and steel) along with rubber sections. He also has rubber reducer hoses.

Re: Air intake
I bought my air intake from Pacific Fabrication / Tilden Motorsports. It's nice, but it took a little tweaking to get it to line up right. It's designed to mount to the stock alternator accessory drive. Let's me keep my battery in the stock location.

Re: Air intake
There is no link to it as it's not on their website. You'd have to give them a call @ 408-600-0122. Ask them for their direct fit air intake for 63-72 Chevy trucks for LS swaps. Remember it is made to use the stock accessory drive. I listed their websites below, but they are really one in the same.
The Tilden website is: http://tildenmotorsports.com/ The Pacific Fabrication website is: http://pacificfabrication.com/
