Crazy Longhorn, you got pics of your ride?(Body drop)
I know that I saw pics of it way back in the day. What kinda drop are you running now and tires? I am mainly interested in the 1.5" body drop. Did you do it yourself, and do you have pics of how the bottom of the body lines up with the bottom of the frame? And what were any problems and hard spots doing the body drop?
Thanks

i dont have any pics in "process" , but it wasnt to bad to do(me likes welder burns ) The center hump was reworked last winter after the Richmond trans install(clutch fork /floor issues), that needed a BFH to clearance the floor! i have some fresh pics that i havent uploaded yet.....progress is still rolling , but slow. the old chev is basically a 3/5 drop, with 1 1/2" of body drop. She runs 255/70/15's at the rear, & 225/75/15's up front. the fuel tank is moved to the rear (Jazz cell), so the stance is a little different. I still have the "nose down " rake that i love, & promise you guys some new pics (sometime)....here are a few old shots http://community.webshots.com/user/hotrodhorn shoot me a PM, & I will try to run over some of the details on the body drop(basically an old school channel job).....crazyL

actually, me & body panels do get along....just wish I knew about paint! Yes, I have done all the mods on that old truck, & have been pleased with results so far. Car shop (Moline Illinios) did the stroker shortblock, milan rad set up the rad(good price, i worked there at the time), a local driveline shop did the shaft......the rest has been my "burnt hyde". busted knuckles, ect. Ever had a love /hate relationship with an old truck? me & that old longhorn are for sure "till death do us part" crazyL
