drive shaft bushing
I AM IN THE PROCESS OF TRYING TO RESTORE A 52 CHEVY PICKUP,BUT AM IN NEED OF HELP.I INSTALLED A DRIVE SHAFT BUSHING BUT WHEN I TRIED TO INSTALL THE YOKE IN THE NEW BUSHING IT WOULD NOT FIT.PART OF THE PROBLEM MAY BE DUE TO THE FACT THAT I REALLY DO NOT KNOW WHAT THE YEAR OF THE ENGINE,TRANSMISSION,REAR END ETC.ARE.I HAVE BEEN TOLD TO RESEARCH THE NUMBERS STAMPED ON THESE PIECES.WHAT SITES ON THE INTERNET ARE AVAILABLE FOR SUCH RESEARCH??
THIS TRUCK HAS BEEN A REAL DEAL SO FAR. |

http://www.americanclassic.com/paint_test.asp This site is pretty good. I had a question about paint options and a guy on this forum told me about this link. It has Model codes, Engine codes, Transmission codes, and Axle codes on there. You should be able to use that site and find out what rear end, tranny, and engine you have.
