MAF Swap

Hey guys I am wanting to swap to a different style MAF on my truck.
my current one is a AC Delco 19351885 (2008 gen IV)

https://www.amazon.com/ACDelco-19351.../dp/B0792GT5B7

to this blade style AC Delco 23256991 (2011 Gen IV)

https://www.amazon.com/ACDelco-23256.../dp/B010G6GEH0

The wiring and connectors are the same according to the pinouts and schematics. I know it will need to me calibrated but anyone see a problem? I cant seam to find any information online.
Thanks Scott

Re: MAF Swap

I would think it would be fine. Ive swapped mine over to an LS3 style cartridge. As long as you tune the curve and the swapped sensor has the same overall reading capacity it shouldn't matter.

Re: MAF Swap

So can I just use the settings for the 2011 MAF in the 2008 tune? Since they are both same generation just need to calibrate after correct?

Re: MAF Swap

I think that's what I did with mine, been a while since I've messed with it.

Just start it and let it idle and watch where you are at with fueling. If you are off I'd adjust the entire table up or down until it idles a touch rich. Once that is done then calibrate the curve.
