69 GMC LS Swap - ports on intake

Doing my first LS Swap, pulled 5.3 from 2011 tahoe with 6l85 trans
have most everything connected, but I don't know what these lines are for.
First picture is on rear of factor intake
Second picture is on front left of motor, looks like a vacuum line.
Any help is greatly appreciated

Re: 69 GMC LS Swap - ports on intake

Port at rear on intake is for power brakes...you will need a new fitting barb to replace the factory push fit one....

Ports at front of engine are emission related....what emission components are you using on your finished build?

Let us know and we can suggest best layout for front ports.

There is a dedicated LS Swap sub forum on our board at

https://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/...play.php?f=206

We can move this post over there if you like and you will get much more info....

Please move, Thanks
I am going with Wilwood manual breaks, no booster
Not planning on emission components if possible

Re: 69 GMC LS Swap - ports on intake

sounds like cap the first 2 circled items (brake booster and front evap fitting).

the lower one circled, coming off the valve cover pass side front, you want to hook to fresh filtered air (intake tube). this is the PCV clean air draw.
