LMC Bed Fender Extensions
So LMC came out with Rear Fender Bed Extensions reproductions. They listed them for 73-78. Decided to try them on my 85 since the beds rarely changed. I got both sides.

Re: LMC Bed Fender Extensions
They look really good and fit well. Figured out that two fenderwell bolts and nuts needed to be removed and are used to attach the top. The parts have some nuts welded in so the nuts I removed were not needed.
There is a hole on the side that lines up with one on the bedside.

Re: LMC Bed Fender Extensions
Since the bottom of the bed has been sprayed with LizardSkin, I did the best to match it with Duplicolor truck bed coating.
I also found some extra front fenderwell bolts and used the leftover nuts to secure the sides. Worked out well. They fit well and just needed just a little bend to get things lined up. Glad they fit and went on so easy. Guess the year range was just when they were installed by GM.
