K10 Exhaust
I have a 1968 K10 Suburban. I believe it has a 350 but could be a 305. I need to put a new exhaust on from the ram horn header back. What is the best way to run the exhaust? 2 into 1. Run dual pipes. Looking for a nice mellow sound. It’s weekend cruiser, hunting truck.

It kind of depends on if you are going to do it yourself or hire it done. I don't do much exhaust work on my trucks any more but it is more expensive to have the duals put on than the single. I like the sound of the duals though, so I put them on just about everything. LockDoc

Re: K10 Exhaust
If you have the work done and run dual exhaust, adding an H pipe will give you that nice mellow exterior sound and help evacuate exhaust gasses. Don't forget the type of exhaust hangers used will make a huge difference on interior noise and exhaust drone. You'll want exhaust hangers that have a good rubber isolator (i.e. j-hook style works well).

Re: K10 Exhaust
I did 2.5 rams horns and 2.5 pipe into one muffler with a 3" exit on mine. The shop put a short little magnaflow on it at first and I hated the loud sound, so they swapped it.
