1960 Differential Cover
Hello Forum Members,
I have a basic stock half ton 1960 Chevy C10 Fleetside. It has a 235 motor and a 3 on the tree with over drive transmission and the stock six lug rear end. I believe it to be an ho33? The question I have is does anyone make an Aluminum differential cover for this rear end? It is a 10 bolt but Summit told me they don't carry anything for this type of rear end and according to them no one makes any cover for it. Jeg's told me they had a cover for it but when I looked up that number it did not list my year truck. So if anyone knows a cover that would fit please let me know, I am just going for a little bling. If there isn't one available, I will just clean and detail my stock one. Thank You, Snafu Last edited by snafu1; 11-21-2019 at 07:36 PM. Reason: Spelling mistake |

Re: 1960 Differential Cover
I have never seen any sort of aftermarket chrome or aluminum cover for the Eaton HO32/33 differential.

Re: 1960 Differential Cover
Thank you Captainfab for the info. Is there something unusual about these rear ends or are they just not popular enough?
Thanks, Snafu |

Re: 1960 Differential Cover
They are just not used much these days. It has been 57 years since they were used. There is little to no aftermarket support for them. Personally I would just switch over to a truck 12 bolt. Wider gear selection and good aftermarket support.
