Anyone know of a way to restore the blue color without painting.

I would assume the white is a combination of oxidation and sun bleaching. I wonder if some sort of polish could remove the oxidation. Sun bleaching might be a harder one to combat.

Some quick googling led me to this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fwk_fNEeH6Q

Re: Front hub dials

From what i have seen, painting seems to be the best way to go. IronCanine seemed to get excellent results painting his to the factor red on the 69s

Re: Front hub dials

Just thinking that rather than to paint the dials believe would have better results if used a plastic dye similar to when changing colors on vinyl. Paint would have a tendency to flake off I think. With the dye process believe the coloring would penetrate deeper into the plastic instead of remaining on the surface like paint. Dying vinyl or plastic usually calls for an adhesion promoter after a good cleaning. Just some thoughts, good luck.
