Re: Truck is just parked

I was starting to get worried about you. Haven't seen anything from you for a while. It doesn't have to be an event to go to. There was a Cobra kit car sitting at Bridgeside Restaurant at Cascade Locks last Thursday when I made a quick trip to Milwaukee and back.

77 C 30 dualie, 454, 4 speed with a 10 foot flatbed and hoist. It does the heavy work and hauls the projects around.

I find just driving my 54 to the Post Office or store to be interesting. Don't let the jerks get you down. They want you home, confused, depressed and afraid.

Re: Truck is just parked

I used mine Saturday am to bring my son and I to get haircuts. I took it out again Saturday evening to go bowling and to the arcade with my daughter.

Now I need to replace the mufflers I installed in 1993.

Re: Truck is just parked

Its a dreary, foggy day here at the beach but still going out to store and PO in an hour and looking forward to it. Sometimes the hardest part is climbing out of a comfy electric recliner and climbing into the beast. Best part is the honks, waves and thumbs up! Go for a drive!!!

Re: Truck is just parked

Unless it's raining, or I'm fishing, I make myself drive the truck at least twice a week. No matter how short a trip may be.

I'm in the same boat. I haven't driven anywhere for weeks but I start it up once a week or so.

Re: Truck is just parked

Hogfarm has no short trips. I am not sure that there is even a mini mart there. Next closest town is 5.9 miles and it is a 15 mile run to a real grocery store.

My town (12 miles) has 250 people, no stop light and no store. Closest gas is 20 miles, grocery store is 30 miles, and Home Depot is 50 miles

I plan to drive mine a lot despite what our nanny governor wants me to do. Should have it on the road today for the first time

Yep it's a long ways out to get to my house, Appleton is 4-5 miles from my house we have a post office and nothing else. Nearest gas station and small store is 16 miles.to do our shopping we travel 25-30 miles to Safeway, and I love it
But the biggest problem I have now is my daughter says I can't put my truck in her garage this winter, so I need to build a new building so every time I go to town it is to go shopping or get building materials, and can't fit that stuff in the 54.And I'm 66 years old,I just can't build this as fast as I did.it will be nice to be able to walk around in my shop, and hope to have the 58 done this winter

Re: Truck is just parked

My goal this summer was to drive my truck to work at least once a week. I've been on track with that since mid April. Weather has been nice enough so it's been twice a week most times!
