support/carrier bearing mystery - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

Hello,
I am restoring a Pontiac hearse, 1947. Because it is a hearse, the prop. shaft is longer than the traditional pontiac shaft, and the hearsemaker appears to have added a support bearing that is unlike any I have found so far. However, the bearing cushion has a part number! "2015742 GMC" is printed on the cushion. This is the last part of the chassis I have to find.

Can someone please tell me which cars this part normally goes to?

The bearing is attached to the frame with a plate that has four bolts in it. These are insulated, two of them appear to have the rubber fused with the bolts. Does anyone know where I can find these?
Someone please make my month and tell me what these things are!

Looks like someone hijacked your thread, but it did go back to the top. Go to www.stovebolt.com and post your question there. The GMC tells me it's out of a GMC pickup or truck. Pictures would help.
