I started my 72 3/4 ton GMC 4X4 to Chevy transformation today.
Well I messed around with my new 72 GMC 4X4 today. I will be turning it into a 72 Chevy look-a-like. I took it down to a point where I can install an HEI and see how it will run. I will probably just install a new motor or have this on rebuilt. Not shure yet..LOL WES www.ClassicHeartbeat.com

GMC all the way.................My 4x4 is a actually a 69 chevy that someone turned into a gmc. I have been trying to find a good vin/title to make it into a gmc permanently.

I love my 2 gmcs.... I work at the GM tech center in warren mi. Jim Queen (head of engineering) decided that NON-GM vehicles are allowed to park in the parking structures at work.
Anyway, I laugh my A$$ off at the rent-a cops that are guarding the parking structure now. They Looooooook and arent sure if they need to get up and stop me- Most of them have no idea what kinda truck it is... I love driving up the structures cause I set off all the bosses alarms off when I drive by... hee hee...Then I park nice and close to there cadillacs...

Well for one I realy like the look of a Chevrolet..
 Not that GMC looks bad or anything, I just like Chevrolet better. I did get a call on a nice GMC core support today though, so I am reconsidering... I do have 4 other 72 4X4s so it's not like it wouldn't be cool to own a GMC. I will think on it some more and we will see. I did more or less decide on a color though also. How does Peuter sound? Only I want to add a little more metalics in it.. WES www.ClassicHeartbeat.com

Same thing
If I had same truck I would do same thing. Many of these trucks need new fenders or hood or inners, core support, etc. anyway. Its a preference thing, I am patial to chevys but have never had the right oportunity to own a GMC.
At heart they are related!!
