My dream truck would be a SWB 67 Big Back Window CST with a wood bed.

I went looking for the 71-72. I found a 71 Cheyenne with a/c and couldn't be happier. That $1000 truck is now around $18k, but don't tell my wife. Egg crate all the way!

67 Chevys and GMC's first(i like the small back window), then the 68's, then 71-72, then finally 69-70's... Ive got a 69 but dont care too much for the front clip, but it is growing on me;
Lucky

Any year GMCs for me. I like all the Chevys too though, especially the 71 - 72s.

How about a non-67-72 owners opinion? I have to reflect what the majority here have to say. There is no doubt the simplicity of the 67 front end is a thing of beauty. Couple that with a rare big window and you have a winner.
I very close second would be a 68, but any year of the 67-72 are very nice when done properly....

Got to go with the 67-68. Kinda partial since that's what I drive, even though I'd take any year from 67-72.

'69 or '70 Chevrolet first for me; have always liked the way these trucks looked from day one, and learned about all I know about Chevrolet pickups from the '69 I owned. Of course, it would have to be a short bed stepside for me nowadays; heck, add a 3/4 ton for towing, and a Blazer for offroad, and .......

There really is no comparison here, because when you think about it the 67 was the first and anything after that was just a clone of the original, so they really don't even count...

i go with the 67s. very clean and to me that year design represents THE transition year from classic or old/antique to the modern trucks of today. i look at a 67 and i can see both a very classic and modern truck in one. i must be in the minority because i prefer the small window.

My Grandfather owned a 1972 Cheyenne 10 and the Old Man owned a 1972 Custom 10. After the Cheyenne rotted out and the motor in the Custom died, we put them together and now I own them or it, however you want to put it. 1972 is the only one I know of.

What is wrong with you all. I think I only counted 1 or 2 of you that liked the '69-70 front ends. That is my choice and not because I have one it is the reason I bought one. My .02
