Hooker Blackheart 1963-66 C10 LS/LT Swap System Info Thread

Since we have gotten through the development of LS and LT swap system parts for the 1963-66 model year range of C10 trucks, I thought it would be a good idea to create a thread specifically for them to make it easier for you guys who own/work on them to find relevant information on them.

I will be loading photos and information onto this thread as the development vehicle goes through the final assembly process and until that happens I would simply like to let those following know that the Hooker Blackheart engine mounting brackets and headers for this application are specific to it and the transmission crossmember, trailing arm crossmember and exhaust systems are shared with the 1967-72 C10 application.

Here's the first image I will post for those following that depicts the geometry of the engine mounting brackets (these are pre-production samples, production parts will be black powder coated). This brackets can be used to install either an LS or LT engine by using the appropriate Hooker Blackheart engine mount clamshell for each engine and Hooker Blackheart poly inserts. These brackets can also be used on a wide frame rail equipped 1967 model year truck.
