In frame gas tank
Hey Bob what kind of gas tank are you using on your pick up? Where did you get it and how much was it? Where exactly dos it mount? I want to use one in my 55. Thanks for any help, Guy PS do you still have the 9 inch rear end that was set up for a chevy pu? If you still have it what do you want for it? I live in Michigan so I can pick it up.

Gas Tank Answers!
Hey thanks for the nice comment Seon! And to Guy, here are the basic answers... The tank that we found to work best is from a 1969 Mustang/Cougar. They come in a 16, 20 and 22 gallon capacity, they do not hang down too far and you can locate the filler behind a flip-down license plate door in the center of the rear crossmember, or you can request a tank that will place the filler in the bed with a trap-door. We sell a complete installation for these... for $389.00.
The kit includes all the parts and full colored photos of a typical installation. On our web site there is a couple of photos of an installed Cougar 22 gallon tank in a '58 Chevy Pickup frame. If you have more questions, email us or give us a call... Best regards, rico_bob www.ricos-rods-and-relics.com ricosrodsandrelics@yahoo.com

rico_bob,
What are the dimensions of these cougar tanks? these will fit right in our 67-72 trucks with only the minor mods that you list on your website?
