As far as 6-speed's go you might want to consider this one:
This one will put the shifter in the original location so it does not interfere with the seat or center console. http://www.standardtransmission.com/BW_T-56.html 1386-000-011MS Aftermarket GM w/ shifter modified for 4sp replacement application $2575.00 Standard Transmission & Gear Co. 1000 N.E. 29th Fort Worth, TX 76106 Local: (817) 625-7109 Toll Free: 800-783-8726 Fax: (817) 625-0580 EDIT: The Richmond only has one overdrive, while the T-56 above has two. So it depends on which you would prefer. If you plan to drive at highway speeds often you may want the two overdrives, if you are more for hotrodding around town with some highway driving the Richmond 6 would suit you fine too. I believe the 4-speed shifter location is something to really consider.
