What is this access hole for?
I borrowed this picture from KENS65FB (thanks) and I have the same access hole on my 1966 passenger cowl.
Does anybody know what this access/pass through hole is for? Thanks |

Re: What is this access hole for?
Probably a registration hole for when the fender is stamped. But I could be wrong.

Re: What is this access hole for?
I believe it is a feed hole for an original antenna lead.

Re: What is this access hole for?
The antenna mounts on top of the cowl and feeds into the cab above the passenger's side kick panel, right? This truck's cowl appears to not have been pierced for an antenna. Not that my registration hole guess was right.

Re: What is this access hole for?
I don't think it's for the Antenna:
The antenna hole comes up under the cowl cover.

Re: What is this access hole for?
Also look at this thread - It has an antenna with nothing through that hole. And it has holes on both sides.
