Hood safety catch spring

I see where I can buy the clip with spring for ~$60 plus shipping.

Is there some place to buy just the spring?

Thanks guys.

Jweb, yes that's it. I even looked on line at Filling station, guess I didn't ask the right way.

It’s difficult to find in their catalog. I had one of the guys at their cruise in show me a few years ago.

Re: Hood safety catch spring

I use the Filling station's catalog a lot to find is something exists in the aftermarket. I find that it is a lot easier to put the most generic thing you can think of such as Hood or latch and work from there. It's more scrolling but in the end run simpler.

From experience if you want something them in a hurry I'd suggesting to ask them if they actually have it on the shelf because I think on a lot of slow movers they order the pieces in on stock orders and then ship them out.

Chevs of the 40's also shows it https://www.chevsofthe40s.com/detail...th_Clevis.html
