My GMC trucks
Here are some photos of my GMC trucks. One is a 1971 short fleet, original 350 engine, 700R4, factory a/c and heat with 18" and 20" Coys. Originally sold in Wichita Falls, Tx.
The other is a 1967 short fleet, big rear window, 292 six with 4 speed. Was bought from the original owner and came from a New Mexico indian reservation. |

Two very nice trucks! It's funny because I have always preferred the 67/68 front end, but your 71' really appeals to me.

Love that 71. The black really sets off the colonial cream color. I'm just starting on a 71 GMC stepside so it's good to see possible color combinations.

Hi again, been a long time since we meet at your place.
I sold the step-side but was a great little truck as a daily driver. Had to replace the engine shortly after I brought it home, found a complete 6 cyl that came out from a Nova locally here in town. Picked up a 1972 GMC in 2016 instead, that I enjoy. Hope you are doing OK and still piddle with all the nice trucks.
