I'm Back...

I've been gone for quite a while. I originally subbed for the stepvan project I started several years ago, but shortly afterward I was forced to move states and had to sell it just as it began to take off. Now I've settled into a new home and picked up a new project, so I'm back with another bizarre build!

The new toy is a 1967 Chevy Series 60 tilt cab. Originally equipped with a 327 cu in w/ 5 speed manual transmission and 2-speed rear end. Approx 14,000 GVWR, original photos of it on an auction site show it originally equipped with an 18' flatbed (included photos show present and past condition). It had apparently been in operation up until 2010, but did not run when I purchased it. I have since put a bit of work into it and it runs great.

My plans include an engine swap and other upgrades, which will be discussed in the appropriate locations.

Re: I'm Back...

I didn't know Chevy made snub noses in '67. That looks like a great example.

They're definitely uncommon. Whenever I do a web search, my own truck is one of the few that always pops up in images. I did manage to find 1 replacement door glass (original, unopened part still in the very faded box) and a sales pamphlet on eBay.
