Help!! 3/4t To 1/2t Suspension

THIS IS KINDA NEW TO ME SO NEED HELP. THE REAR END ILL GET A DONOR FROM 71-72 BUT THE FRONT WHAT EXACTLY NEED TO BE DONE. IS THE ANY CHEAPER WAY FOR CONVERSION BESIDES THE KIT FOR $600. I DO WANT TO LOWER THE TRUCK A LITTLE.. 68 3/4T CHEVY

If you swap the lower a arms for 1/2 ton pcs,(71-72) you can go for the 1/2 ton balljoints , tierod assys (inners, outers, & sleeves), center link & bolt the spindles on for the 1/2 ton truck. the upper a arms will work, but note that the lowers have a larger hole for the balljoint on the 3/4 ton truck. You can also use the 73 up spindles(with corresponding balljoints, & outer tierod ends). As far as drop, you can cut 1 ring off the bottom of the front coils, for a 2 1/2-3" drop. aftermarket pcs (drop coils, spindles ect) are also wide open & fairly cheap on the 1/2 ton trucks best of luck,crazyL
