Trucks at Bozo's
Took a road trip and went through Santa Rosa NM. Got into town early enough to stop by Bozo's to see some vehicles. Saw these 3 trucks.

Then I looked at this one, IMG_E0785 by Robert Moorman, on Flickr IMG_E0787 by Robert Moorman, on Flickr I asked Laura if this was the side boards she wanted, and she explained that she didn't like them. I asked why and she said she didn't like the wood. I said that's Trex, you will have oak. So she said ok. Then I saw this beast. The inside of the cab was extremely cramped, I'm not sure I could have gotten in and driven it. But it was well done. I couldn't find the lines where they put stuff together.

Re: Trucks at Bozo's
That blue '54 makes me wonder if these trucks were that nice when they were brand new!

Re: Trucks at Bozo's
It was mostly original from what I could tell, except for the chrome lettering on the tailgate.
I don't think they were that nice, but for an almost original, $28,000 didn't seem too bad.

Re: Trucks at Bozo's
Remembering the 54 5 window with hydromatic that we had when I was in my early teens they were pretty decent but not that nice. I polished and waxed that truck more than once just for something to do and it would shine up pretty good. Fit and finish on 54 trucks may be a bit better than on 47/53 though. Since they made new dies for the 51 they may have fixed a few of the hiccups that were on the earlier trucks that we contend with daily.
