Re: Door closing problem
I'm having second thoughts about the Honda seals. The gray inside lip is 3/8"-7/16"" shorter than OE-type seals, so doesn't cover up the old weather-stripping adhesive in the recess on the inside of the pinch weld.
I spent over an hour trying to remove just few sections of hardened black weather-stripping. It's a super PITA, even when using 3M adhesive cleaner and a plastic scraper. Not only that but the paint under the adhesive is scratched down to primer or bare metal in places. So I'll have to touch that up one way or another. I'm thinking about ordering Steele push-on seals, but want to talk to them first about their return policy.
