‘63 Rear springs
I know I am likely going to get differing answers but I am going to ask anyway - what should the height from the ground to the underside of the rear wheel opening be for a ‘63 C10 fleet side long box, with standard coil springs?

They (GM) show a stepside for both step and fleet dimensions. I copied the fleet section for you. They don't show wheel well height.:

Thanks for the response.
I am trying to determine if my 20+ year old rear coils are needing to be replaced or not. Ideally I would get a measurement from ground to wheel opening lip as it is a pretty consistent area of measurement for similar trucks.

Or I could find the L measurement for you. 28.25" unloaded (curb weight).

Mine is 28.75” and it appears to be lower than when I had the springs installed, but that was 20+ years ago and you know how time messes with your recollections.

Maybe I am asking for the wrong measurements. I thought the wheels opening would be easy to measure.
Could anyone give me the height of the rear coil springs as they are installed on the truck?

Tire size will have an effect on your measurement. I have 29" tall tires on stock springs. I'm sitting at about 27 1/4" from ground to wheel well lip. Then again, I did have a probably 200+ pound steel plate on top of the rotted out wood floor for who knows how long
