Turn signal cancel cam issues
Hey all, I've searched high and low for this issue, but haven't come across it yet.
I replaced my left-hand signal switch spring, as the old one broke. In fact, I've replaced the entire switch and harness. Now, the cancelli cam seems to dislodge the spring after the first engagement. I open up the column, re-seat the spring, take it for a spin, and the issue repeats. This only happens on the left turn signal spring. Any insight as to why the cam seems to be dislodging it? |

Re: Turn signal cancel cam issues
What come to mind is the area where the spring hooks maybe wear out or the plastic side maybe not formed right, the plastic replacement part maybe not formed to the right thickness to pliable letting it pop off or spring tension to tight. A little grease on pivot contacts areas make sure it seat right.
