Water Pump sealant questions
1. What do i use on the threads for the plug on the top and the heater hose nipple on the side?
2. do I need sealant on the cardboard gaskets? thanks in advance |

I have always used thread sealant on the pipe threaded stuff as for paper gaskets I have only put light layer of silicone to hold them in place while bolting down I have not put thread sealer on the bolts

You should use pipe dope on the water pump bolts. they might leak coolant.
