Brothers Tach Dash Conversion Question
Brothers Trucks sells a conversion kit to install a tach into an existing dash, can anyone tell me if this kit will work with an HEI distributor?

Re: Brothers Tach Dash Conversion Question
Yep, it sure will. I bought the 5k rpm tach conversion kit, Brothers part #TACH772. Works great.

Re: Brothers Tach Dash Conversion Question

Re: Brothers Tach Dash Conversion Question
I installed the. 8K version (didn't have a 5K kit in stock at the time) Has worked with 3 different HEI distributors so far. I already had a wire coming in thru the firewall from the tach so I just connected the brown wire to it.

Re: Brothers Tach Dash Conversion Question
I added a factory tach from a big truck gauge cluster. I used female spade lug connectors on the tach and ran my own wires to the HEI and power.
