Spicer PTO for SM465
Spicer PTO that came off of a SM465 that I had. It comes with the correct thickness gasket for referrence(although it does need replacing). It was used to drive a Braden PTO winch that I also have for sale. 150.00

Re: Spicer PTO for SM465
No idea about the 420 Mike. You are right about the year though. It was swapped into a '64 that I had parted out years ago. The '64 was an original 4spd truck and did have (what I believed to be) an original Braden winch and bumper for that year. The axles, transmission and transfercase (NP205) came out of a '72 and seemed to be swapped in. Not sure if the PTO was transferred from the original trans (SM420 ?) or if it came with the SM 465 that came in the truck when I got it. Hope someone here can chime in.

Re: Spicer PTO for SM465
I think they are different units for different transmissions or transfer cases and this one came when the '72 stuff came. I could be wrong.

Should be in the next day or two, it's just a matter of getting over to my container.

Re: Spicer PTO for SM465
Man, talk about a slow reply. I had forgotten about this thread til I was PM'd.
My apologies for not updating sooner but the 2 sp Spicer was sold some time back. I was trying to get rid of 3 of them and this was the only one that sold. It was the only 2 speed that I had. Had to go look in the garage to be sure of the one that I had sold. Thanks for the reminder Dodgeguy.
