That's way
What did this car come with from the factory? Standard engine combo was a 335 horse 383/4 speed but one could order everything up to a 440 6 pack (69 1/2) and a HEMI. Good color combo too, looks to be torrid red.

That's my next project I have a 69 Road Runner with a 383 engine with 75,000 org. miles and it's a 4 speed. My dad gave it to me when I was in the 10th grade he paid $500 for it. The guy that own it had a wreck so he had it fix and then he join the army. Nice score Orange70Chevy.

That is gonna be a blast for you. A buddy has a 69 also and he has let me drive it a few times, it has the 440 six pack, four on the floor and I have never been in a more powerful feeling street car.
Definitely interested in hearing about your progress!

Thanks for all of the great comments. I can't wait to start on it maybe Saturday of Sunday. It is at my father in laws house (he has a big shop and he has more experience than me) so it will probably be a weekend only project. The car has a 383 4 speed it is all stock my dad did not do anything with it so it has the stock intake, carb., breather, exhaust manifolds, ........
I plan on keeping it as stock as I can. Yukon Jack that car is sweet maybe mine will look like that one day. UP GRADE great story I would like to see photos if you have any. One more thing does any one know of a good dodge fourm out there that would be a great help. Jason |

my best friend dad had a 69 bee with a hemi/ 4 speed, that was show room perfect, i got to ride in it once. he sold it for 10.000 back in 1984. what a nice retirement investment it could of been, i believe that car would go for 10 x that much now.

I had a '70 Super Bee 4spd my senior year in high school back in 1980. It was a original hemi car. The guy I bought it from had put a 383 in for some reason. Paid $1800 for it. 6 months later guy ran a stop sign, center punched me I ended up parting it.

Orange70Chevy,
Nice score! You might try www.cowtownmopars.com I was looking there for parts for my neighbor's Duster awhile back. They might have links to a club closer to Waco also. Good Luck!

Man that Story sounds all to familar. My dad gave me his 1967 mustang gt fastback that he bought new. I have been working on it slowly since 88 and just now got to the point that I got money for big toys. Although my 68 chev truck has taken over on the funds issue. I hope to buy a digital camera soon so I can post pics of my projects.
