I thought I saw your '50 chevy truck doing a burn out in the Custom Classic Trucks Magazine in the article about Mid-West Nats. ?? Was it you? Had to be!

Re: 1950 Chevy 3600 - Bumper Punchin'
I just got a call from a buddy in MO who said the same thing. I'm leaving work to buy a copy or 10 :-)
I'm more curious to see who else from the 67-72 made the mag. We had ~15 or so trucks there. |

Re: 1950 Chevy 3600 - Bumper Punchin'
It's a 10 bolt out of a cutlass i believe. This winter I plan to at minimum, put a new rear end in, but am also planning a rebuild of the motor. Nothing crazy, but we'll bump it up a notch or 5.

Re: 1950 Chevy 3600 - Bumper Punchin'
man, i wish. I'm makin plans to take this up to my parents house for storage in a week or two, and i highly doubt it will get touched all winter. And all I did this summer was drive it.
hopefully next spring I'm able to make some time for it. |

busy. very busy. It's tough working two full time jobs.
By the time we get to car show season next year, I should be down to one and will hopefully be able to spend some more time with the toys. |

Glad to see you back on the board again.
I still see a lot of pictures in the thread so I am not sure which ones you are trying to find.

Re: 1950 Chevy 3600 - Bumper Punchin'
I'll more than likely be going to good guys, but it'll be w/o a truck. I just sold the 50 on ebay last night. It's going to a guy just north of KC, so maybe it'll make it's way back up here for GG or to KC for the Nats.
Unfortunately, I don't have a project in the works right now, but I'm still holding on to a 51 Hudson Hornet that I hope will be my next project. |

Re: 1950 Chevy 3600 - Bumper Punchin'
Bump? Haha
Anyone have pictures of Levi’s truck when it was finished? Since all of his pic links are broken and he hasn’t been on for almost a decade. Looking into building a laid out ratty 3600 myself and would love to see his for some inspiration.
