My 72 C-20 longbed with the C-10 springs weighs 4500 lbs. with the spare in the back. The bed is coated with a spray-on liner as is the underside of the cab and the inside of the hood and the front fender wells top and bottom. I think it adds alot of weight.

My '69 C-10 SWB fleetside w/350 & 3-on-the-tree weighed around 3500 at the city dump scale a few years ago. No spare, dual exhaust, fuel level unknown, & a few square inches of cowl/firewall rusted away.

My short step with 350/350 and a full tank of gas (21 gallons) came in at 3800 with no spare. Mine also has a wood bed, but I don't know if that adds more or less weight.

I wish somebody would get a top-less 2wd Blazer to the scales. I bet those are the lightest.
