Is there a difference between years or are 67-72 all the same? I need some for my 68 and want to get the right ones if there’s a difference.

Yes their is a difference.
The early (67-70) has deep (1/2" nominal) locking strip. Looks like an "L" on the back side of the stainless.
The 71-72 have shallow locking strips. (3/8" nominal)
I would avoid the aftermarket stuff. It is difficult enough to install without the hassles of a poorly made part.

Just to add, the 67-70 trim requires the gasket to match the depth. 71-72 trim requires 71-72 gasket.

on avoiding the aftermarket/repro glass trim and our local area glass guys (the one's in the know) prefer & always ask for precision brand gaskets. To go with the above post, here are the precision brand part numbers for the 67-72 front and rear glass gaskets. Mel
