First time poster from MI
I joined over a year ago but could never post. Recently saw some had paid for an account and were able to post. I tried too and here I am.
I have a 70 GMC Sierra Grande that I am currently working on. It spent most of its life in Nebraska, so doesn't have all of the normal rust belt problems. I have it currently stripped down to cab on chassis, and am starting to replace the normal parts (rockers, cab corners, etc.). My plan is to do a short bed conversion, 6.0 LS swap, lower it a little, and return it to its original medium green and white. I had a couple of 68 GMC's back in my 20's, but now that I'm retired I plan on building the truck I always wanted but could never afford. I'm glad I am finally able to post so I can look for some much needed parts on the For Sale forum. Thanks for having me! |

Nice looking truck, it surely pays to start with one that has spent most of it's time in a nice salt free area. Your about where I was about 2 years ago, remember we all like pictures. I'm now down to the final touches, hope to be driving mine next summer.

Re: First time poster from MI
Welcome to the site. As far as being able to post there must have been some sort of glitch because you do not have to be a subscriber to post. You do have to be a subscriber to post For Sales, WTB, and WIW. But being a subscriber helps keeps the board rolling, so thank you for that!
You should start a build thread here so everyone will check it out ... https://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/...play.php?f=115
