73-80 Firewall Holes
Curious if I can get some help to label all the holes in the 73-80 firewall. I don't want to fill something I may need during assembly later on.
I'll update this posts as we can identify them. 1.-Dash Brace 2.-Throttle Pedal(3 hole cluster) 3.-Throttle cable(rectangular hole) 4.-Transmission kickdown grommet 5.-Tach grommet 6.-Dual Fuel Tank grommet 7.-Wiper Motor(larger hole + 3 mounting hole cluster) 8.-Wiring Harness Pass-through(square cut out + 2 mounting holes) 9.-Emergency Brake (2 hole cluster) 10.-Wiring grommet to cruise control, possibly other features 11.-Firewall insulation hold down Not pictured or numbered is the e-brake cable exist which is in the bottom of the firewall, pointing straight down. I appreciate everyone's help to get this filled out. Thanks

Re: 73-80 Firewall Holes
If number 3 is a square hole it looks to be the throttle cable.

Re: 73-80 Firewall Holes
10 is cruise control on my 76. But its also used for other powered accessories in the engine compartment like dual battery etc. 11 is a firewall insulation hold down.

Re: 73-80 Firewall Holes
4 is for TH400 kickdown grommet, 5 can be for tach grommet. 6 I think is for dual tank grommet.

Re: 73-80 Firewall Holes
Hi & thanks for posting the pic & info, very helpful! I do have a question about hole labeled #1. I have an 80 Jimmy that definitely has that hole, but nothing under the dash. Does anyone have a picture of the "Dash Brace" that's supposed to be there? Any help is much appreciated!
