Track width issues....help needed

Alright guys...I need some serious help...Im totally lost at what's going on here...Long post so stay with me... bought a 66 c10 project that was "started" that i have been working on for a cpl years now....Was starting to mock up body panels and got a set of Slosh Tubz in as well...something is not right with my track width on the front...Here is what i have....I have a Thorebeck Brothers P47 front crossmember, with CPP CP4S4 2.5" drop spindles and Ridetech Strong arm control arms.....I went back and looked up all parts to see what they say about track width...The P47 crossmember says it will narrow the track width 2.25"s and i called Ridetech about the strong arms and they say they do not add or subtract as they are stock width...The spindles say CP4S4 on them which i see are 2.5" drop spindles...1.25" thick rotors are on those and i have US MAG U102 rims which are 20x8 and when i looked them up say they have an offset of 1....I ran a tape measure from inside of tire to inside of tire and measure right at 53"s....Can anyone help me figure this out...Could it be the wrong spindles? wrong rotors? Im lost ....attached are some pics as well...
The more i look at this the more I think that it may be due to the offset on the wheels...Thoughts???

Yes...thats a possibility on the list too..Just want to make sure the rest is correct as well....the rims/tires that came with it may not be right for my setup...they are brand new with stickers still on the tires.....

Take a wheel off and measure the backspacing.
According to US Mags website says it should have a 4.5” backspace

I would bolt on a fender and see how well the wheel fits before I would worry about the slosh tub.
You’re going to have to modify the fender to lay out anyway.

Fender fits but no clearance for turning and/or the slosh tubz...If I measure from the frame straight out to the rotor surface I have 14.5" would like to hear what others have if possible..

You need something closer to +18 offset (5.25"bs).

Even then, you might want narrowed arms for more turning radius. Keep in mind you don't have the camber where it needs to be either.

Alright. Still needing some help with this. I ordered and swapped out my spindles with modular spindles. I gained 3/8 on each side. I’m still thinking this isn’t enough. My rims are 20x8 with 4.540 BS. That’s about the max bs I’m going to get isn’t it? Don’t think they offer much if any more on a 20x8, and isn’t a 20x9 with 5.5 the same thing as what I have and won’t change the track width from what I already have? I guess the only other thing left is narrowed arms maybe?? Thoughts??

Have you trimmed the top edge of the fenders any?

Is your clearance @ the body (fender/tub) verified & optimized as 'Lolife' indicated?

Different wheels w/more back-space and/or narrow arms will gain additional clearance. The 'standard' back-space of 4.54" would work on a 5/7 drop but if your plan is to be able to put the frame on the ground the track width needs to be reduced more aggressively.

I know this is an old thread, but your CPP spindles space your wheels out an additional 3/4 of an inch on each side. Cpp swears they dont, but I just bought some, and they do. They use the same casting for all their 2.5 drop spindles, the only difference being the size and taper of the ball joint and tie rod holes. 71-72 track width is already wider, so how can the same spindle not increase track width on a pre-71?

Only the modular spindles dont space your wheels out further...that's why they are only 2" drop, the 1/2 less places the ball joint and control arm further up into your wheel.
