I have a 72 c10 non a/c truck and plan on adding a/c soon and was wondering if all a/c cabs came with the vent above the radio. I just seen a truck on ebay and it didn’t have one so I was wondering if was really needed or if it was a option. Thanks

Yes, they came with the center outlet. Maybe AC was added to that one, and they didn't bother with adding the center vent?

Yes, all factory A/C trucks came with the vent over the radio and the two side ones.

You could easily put a center vent under the dash if you wanted one.

I don't know about the aftermarket A/C, but the center vent is definitely important for the factory system.
