My '78 Big Ten
My first post on the 73-87 side of the forum!
This my 1978 Big 10. I bought this about a year ago from a friend who has had it since 2007. His uncle bought it in the Joplin, Mo. area in 1980. It had about 48,000 miles on it in 2007 when my friend was given the truck by his uncle. The A/C had stopped working by then so the uncle gave my friend $600 to fix the A/C at that time. He had the A/C repaired and converted to 134A.He had the seat reupholstered in 2012. I bought the truck from my friend in July 2017. It had 60,000 miles on it the day we transferred the title. It is nice to have a vehicle with some comfort features, and A/C during the summer. My plans are to leave the truck as-is. I like the patina look of the paint, and might try going over it with linseed oil to keep it stable.

Re: My '78 Big Ten
Thanks guys!
No it is a single battery setup. Since July 4th the TH350 has started acting up, so I will will soon be getting the transmission rebuilt.
