292 in a C60 making oil....
The oil level has been increasing. Oil pressure about 5 . Drained a little out of the pan and it's pretty thin...i.e. gas mixing with it I guess. Any ideas why? My guess is a stuck carb float, but am willing to listen to any other ideas that you all have.....z

Sounds like you're getting WAY too much fuel. I'd try swapping carbs.
Also, does it have an electric fuel pump? Some did, don't know if that was stock or not, but if it does, also check your fuel pressure regulator. TJ

Making oil? Good lord, you've got a gold mine on your hands!
I don't know what's causing it, but if it is gas mixing with the oil, you want that stuff out of your engine pronto. Not real good for lubricating main bearings and such..

yup, I agree, sounds like fuel gettin into the crankcase.
Either floats, or fuel dripping into the intake and not burning...just washing past the rings. |

Lol. I WISH it were really making it...It's got a stock mechanical fuel pump btw. The level is so high that it's forcing it out of the dip stick tube when it's running (I'm not running it til I a)find out what's wrong, and b) refill it with oil)....z

Check your fuel pump. It sounds as though it is leaking internally and directly into your pan. I wouldn't drive it until the problem is corrected.

If you have a increase in the oil pan of fluid ..Its about a 95% chance ur fuel pump is feeding it..You better get the fuel pump off in a hurry..Suppose you could smell the fuel in the oil mixture!

I agree if the oil level is increaseing, the fuel is coming from the fuel pump seals right into the oil pan. If you were getting that much gas thru the carb it would foul the plugs and quit running. Replace the pump before it blows up.
