New from Az
Hello. Thanks for allowing me to join. Been into cars and bikes forever. (Have a 63 nova and 81 Camaro projects already) However, this is my first C series. 72 C20 Cheyenne has a ZZ3 crate and a th400. (Added a new hei and carb, otherwise ran perfectly). Bought it a few months ago to build for my wife. Her dream truck. Drove to California for it. Trailered it back. Very clean truck. Almost felt bad cutting it up!
Already shortened and c notched it. Swapped the rear for a 8.6 with 3.42. Rebuilt that and flipped the axle on the leafs. Dropping the front with spindles and springs. Converting the spindled to fit the heavier duty ball joints for the C20 steering. Relocating the tank too. Lowered the seat and ordered a new steering column from Kev’s customs. Also have the AAW wiring kit. Exhausted thinking about all that! I already love the truck. My wife wants a stepside bed. So will need to keep an eye out for that. Looking forward to learning more. Thanks. Posted via Mobile Device Last edited by brutusvk; 04-04-2022 at 06:09 PM. |

Re: New from Az
Thanks. Will do. We take a lot of pictures. My wife makes scrapbooks and journals lol
Having the truck plus three project cars (and two bikes) keeps us hopping. Of course, one has NEVER moved under its own power in over 10 years of owning it! Posted via Mobile Device |
