Any suggestions to fix this horn cap?
I've got a 65 Belair steering wheel I'd like to clean up. The horn cap is held on by two spring clips. One clip has come off. The rivet edges have come off. Before I look for another cap I'm wondering if anyone has any suggestion to repair this one. The rivets are actually part of the casting. See pics.

I'll have to check if there's enough depth but maybe I could drill it out and use some of these knurled rivets if I could find a small enough one.

JB Weld the clips on the posts. I did exactly this on a couple wire wheel Cadillac center caps and it worked perfectly.

Re: Any suggestions to fix this horn cap?
Got JB Weld on one side and when it sets up I'll move the clamp and do the other side. I drilled down in the center of the hole a bit to giv it something to bite into. If this doesn't work Ive got some tiny knurled rivets coming from Ebay. I could probably only drill down 3/16" without going through though.

Nice! Since it's a part that won't be frequently removed, it'll probably stay together for a long while
