For a change "everything" I did this past week and weekend was truck related. I spent the past few weeks cleaning my 77 Cheyenne getting it ready for the Texas Heatwave show. This week I spent under the hood making some changes. So far it seems split between who likes the way it was, and the way it is now-Extreme make over..... I rolled out early Friday morning and dropped by my local mechanincs shop to have the a/c topped of. It was cycling pretty often so I figured it needed some freon. That got the job done, but it did quit cooling while sitting in line on Saturday for 45 minutes. I drove to Austin for the show and got classed by 10:45. This simple process would take 2-3 hours if I waited till Saturday. This allowed me to spend the day cleaning my truck and looking at other trucks. On Saturday Keith and I went to the show again and hung out in the heat all day. Fortunately I had got a spot under one of the few trees in the parking lot and set my canopy up. This was a life saver. Sunday was spent with my family and Keiths family. We rented a boat and a Seadoo and had a ball on the lake for a most of the day. Here are pics from where we stayed.... I also got to hook up with some of the forum members. Besides spending the weekend with n2billet, I talked with Jonboy and 7T7. Oh yeah then there was 81chevystep tucking his wheel so hard it would free wheel....
Sorry Chris, the picture I took of your wheel in the air didn't come out.... Last edited by N2TRUX; 07-26-2004 at 09:56 PM. |

Never seen a FLAPS, but I did "borrow" one from work last night. If that dosent work I also got a 3/8 fine thread bolt and an o-ring to fit it. One way or the other I will win. I take it the tape is not good to seal here? I'll have to see if I can find the paste, probably could have got that at work too.
