4WD sticker location pictures please

Re did my cab, and now ready to put transfer and hub stickers back on, but of course I didn't take any pictures. All I do remember is that the stickers in my 65 were totally different from what was in my old 64. Would be great to see any and all pictures of original installations.
Thanks
Tom

Hadn’t checked out that old thread in awhile. Always has good info. Can’t believe the pictures I am looking for weren’t in there though. Hopefully someone will post some pictures as I know there are some great original 4x4’s on this site.
Thanks

I would think the transfer case sticker would go above the rear view mirror. They did on the 67.

From a '65 Suburban. On the interior header panel above the windshield.

Photo of the sticker from my 66 K20. For reference, the screw hole is the lower left one for the mirror bracket, which puts the sticker to the left of the bracket.

Re: 4WD sticker location pictures please

Appreciate the pictures,

On the Suburban it looks like it never had a rear view mirror from the factory same as my K10. Until this truck I never knew some light duty trucks of this era came without them. Just curious, is that Suburban 1/2 or 3/4 ton?

Joe, does your K20 have a hub decal as well to the right of the mirror? My old 64 K20 apparently did not come from the factory with hubs, so did not have the sticker. If yours does have the hub sticker, is it the same as the one on the Suburban? Have always been curious if the 1/2 and 3/4 ton hub stickers are the same.

Have never seen a 60-66 with the sticker over the mirror like in Rock's post, but it makes more sense there. I guess Chevy didn't figure that out until 67.

Thanks to all that responded. Anybody else out there have any knowledge, or better yet pictures, on this subject?

Tom

The hub sticker in my truck was applied to the right of the mirror bracket. It was not straight at all and does not appear to have been applied with any degree of factory worker care. Must have been a Monday morning after a hard holiday weekend. Hope the photo helps.

The Suburban is 1/2 ton. All Suburbans were 1/2. At least until '67.

I guess I never noticed that, but I looked it up and you’re absolutely right. That’s what I love about this forum, I learn something new every day from people like you sharing your knowledge
Thanks

Looks like a later sticker. Maybe dealer or owner installed them a couple years later? Who knows.
Thanks for the picture. Lots of info out there on this for later trucks, but not for “our” years, this is interesting.
