Spark plug question
I just installed headers. How much clearence should I have for my plug wire boots some are pretty close? I have taylor spiro pro wires.
I use ngk 6630 right now wondering about the accel header plugs? Anyone use them? And anyone know what number accel is in the same heat range as the ngk? And speaking about the ngks are the 6630's the right heat range for a stock 350 with headers and an msd probillit hei dist.? Thanks

SHOULD HAVE ABOUT 1/4" AT THE LEAST BETWEEN THE HEADER AND THE BOOT....OR THEY WILL BURN....
MSD MAKES THE UNIVERSAL SET THAT YOU CUT YOUR SELF..... THEY HAVE THE 45 AND STRIGHT BENDABLE BOOT'S INCLUDED FOR THOSE TIGHT SPOT'S...........AS FAR AS PLUG'S JUST USE THE STANDARD HEAT RANGE.....FOR YOU TRUCK.... |

i just changed my plugs/plug wires/distributor cap/distriubtor rotor this last weekend. we just routed them to where they looked neat, were out of the way, and it just comes out to not touching header. me and my dad used the .99 cent clip things you can buy at autozone or whatever to clamp them together and that also helps.

NEVER USE ACCEL HEADER PLUGS!!!!!!!! Never stray from NGK. I have used many plugs and NGK are by far the best I have found. Plus they work great for power adders.
