oil pressure
Can you have to much? Mine sits about 30psi at idle and 45psi at 60mph is this to high?

Also my volt guage sits about 1/8 past 13 is that ok?
at idle with multimeter my batery is at 14. volts is that to high?

Your oil pressure sounds fine. While to much oil pressure costs some power (driving the pump) and can heat the oil, 45 PSI is no where near that point. Sounds like healthy engine to me.
14 volts at idle is also good, just check to see what the system voltage is at about 2000 rpm, you don't want the multimeter to go much above 15 volts. If it does, you can easily replace the voltage regulator in the alt. |

My battery with multimeter seems to top out at 14.5ish What would be to high oil pressure?

i don't think that there is anything as to high of oil pressure. but there is to low.

The number one cause of bearing failure, is over-lubrication. You can have too much pressure. Any more than about 70psi at full rpm is too much.

yeah, my oil stays about straight up and down, as in around 30. and my other one stays at 14.5. the main thing to watch with oil pressure is if it drops alot and temperature is rising, that means your losing oil. the good thing about these trucks is its easy to glance over, as opposed to newer vehicles with idiot lights that don't come on until its too late.
