Need help with stock pulley setup
So I’ve got a 1972 K20 with a 350 and power steering, but non A/C nor smog. Can someone tell me what pulleys I need to make everything line up and route correctly for a stock application (short water pump)? My current water pump pulley has 1 groove that doesn’t line up with anything on my crank.
Someone had put a later style engine in this truck and it had a whole mess of crazy bent up pulleys on it. Thanks in advance.

I'm afraid I don't have the answer you need but, I will suggest you ask a moderator move your thread to the pick-up section where you will have far more people see it than you would here in the lonely Suburban section.
And maybe another photo of your alternator brackets. Good luck.

Re: Need help with stock pulley setup
Got your pm’s.
I think you have the wrong water pump pulley. Which crank groove does your alternator line up with. Here’s the setup on my truck. It all came from a 1971 with a 350.

Re: Need help with stock pulley setup
I think your water pump pulley is from a “long water pump” set up.
(73-87 pulley) The alternator should run on the groove closest to the crank. The add-on crank pulley is p/s specific. You need a deeper water pump pulley.

Re: Need help with stock pulley setup
My alternator pulley lines up perfectly with groove number 1 (closest to the crank).

Re: Need help with stock pulley setup
I have a single groove water pump pulley, but it’s chrome.
I’m sure you could paint it black. It should be about a 7” diameter pulley, 3” deep. They sell them aftermarket. Or I’d be glad to sell you my chrome one. I’ve sold all my single water pump pulleys in bare steel.
