Cheapest way to convert to electric fans?

does anyone know what is a good fan setup for the least amoutn of money the flexolite kit is pushing 400 bucks im sure i can do better than that.
got an 85 c10 with a 350.

i'm very happy with my setup.

two 14" hayden fans(from autozone, etc..) for about $80 each
i also have 2 different painless wiring kits involved in my wiring.

$155 for a multiple speed Viper fan.


How about a Mark VII fan? I just bought one for my other truck. Dual speed fan. I will run it a low speed all the time. The full speed setting will only kick on when the truck heats up to preset temp.

I've got the same fans as Ocbaud and love them. No problems whatsoever on the fans.

I don't have the links handdy but apparently getting a couple of fans out of Taurus works really well. There are links on the 'net about this specific conversion.
